Every Chrysler that rolled off the Stellantis assembly line carries a factory record tied to its 17-character VIN. That record — the build sheet — captures the exact configuration of your vehicle as it was assembled: engine, transmission, axle ratio, exterior paint, interior trim, option packages, and the sales codes that correspond to each factory-installed feature.

What a Chrysler build sheet contains

A build sheet is an internal production document, not a consumer brochure. Rather than marketing language, it lists alphanumeric sales codes — the FCA/Stellantis shorthand that assembly workers used to ensure each vehicle was built to the correct specification. A typical Chrysler build sheet includes:

• VIN, build date, and assembly plant designation
• Engine and transmission codes (for example, distinguishing a base Pentastar V6 from a plug-in hybrid drivetrain)
• Axle ratio and drivetrain configuration
• Exterior paint and interior trim/upholstery codes
• Factory option packages and individual feature sales codes

Build sheet vs. window sticker

A window sticker (Monroney label) is the consumer-facing document required on new vehicles for sale in the U.S. It lists features and pricing in plain language. The build sheet is the underlying factory record — it predates the window sticker and is more technically detailed. Where to find your Chrysler's VIN

The same three locations hold the 17-character VIN on every modern Chrysler:

• Base of the windshield, driver's side: From outside the vehicle, look at the lower-left corner of the windshield. A small metal plate with the VIN is stamped there and visible through the glass — no door to open. On Chrysler's minivans, where the windshield sits fairly upright, this plate is easy to read straight-on from the front.
• Driver's door jamb sticker: Open the driver's door and look at the door frame. A label on the jamb lists the VIN alongside tire inflation and load ratings. The Pacifica and Voyager have wide front-door openings, making the jamb sticker particularly easy to access.
• Registration, insurance card, or title: All official ownership documents carry the full 17-character VIN. Useful when you are not with the vehicle or the physical labels have worn over time.
